My favorite verse in the Bible is Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” These words guide me daily as I try to convey the joyful spirit of hope in God’s power through my teaching and example.
We start each day with a devotion and prayer requests. I love hearing what the students have on their hearts as we pray together! Without this faith in God, none of the academic or social skills that they learn in school will have any meaning.
I believe that knowledge is one of the greatest powers a person can have. Children are blessed with their hopes for their future as well as the power to learn and grow academically, socially, and spiritually in my classroom. My main goal is to encourage them to grow spiritually so that they can use their gifts of knowledge to share God with others.
