I have been a Christian all of my life. I was baptized in a Lutheran Church the same month that I was born. I have always felt God’s love and care for me no matter what my situation. I really haven’t had many difficult periods in my life but I believe if I did I would be able to stand firm in my knowledge that Jesus is my Savior and some day I will live with Him in heaven. I want to pass this knowledge on to others and that is why I’ve chosen to work at a parochial school. God has been so good to me and I want others to experience this same special relationship with their Lord and Savior. Children are so ready to learn about the Bible and believe that what is read is true. They also help me see the simplicity of God’s love and remind me of what is important.
However, I don’t limit my acknowledgement of God only to children. I try to live my life in a Christian manner so all who know me can see God’s hand in my life. The older I get the closer I feel God’s presence in my life and I don’t want to keep it to myself. I pray with God’s help I will continue to grow in faith and in turn be able to pass it on to others.
