Every day I thank God for the life He has given to me. He has blessed me with parents that taught me from little on that God loves me; He blessed me with a loving husband who also has a love for God, and He has given me two daughters to raise in His Word. He blesses me with health and has given me the opportunity to teach others about Him.
Being in the Pre-Kindergarten and also teaching a Confirmation class for the developmentally delayed I have found that the simple truth of Jesus being their best friend and that He loves us more then anyone is the best way to teach. Young children can relate to having a “best friend” and every one wants one! We sing songs about Jesus during our day and also pray at our snack time. We encourage our students to pray to God whenever they need help or are afraid because He will be there to help them.
