First Immanuel's LWML is happy to once again this year sponsor a young man preparing for the ministry at one of the two LCMS seminaries.  Traditionally we have adopted a son (this year it's a "son-in-law") of the congregation and remembered him with a monthly monetary gift throughout his time at the seminary. 

 

Our current seminarian is Matthew Barry.  Matt graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2008 and is attending Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.  While attending CUW, he met his wife, Katie (nee Kitzerow), who is a graduate of First Immanuel Lutheran School and the daughter of Bob and Diane Kitzerow, members of First Immanuel.
